What is an Occupational Injury?
The term ‘Occupational Injury’ covers a wide variety of conditions, injuries and workplace acquired disorders.

Causes of Occupational Injury
There are a wide variety of factors which result in an MSD but those which are most commonly experienced are as a result of slips, trips and falls, manual handling or machinery related. These can include crush injuries and overuse injuries such as tendonitis’, sometimes known as Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI).
Treatment of Occupational Musculoskeletal Injuries

Occupational Physiotherapists are experienced in rehabilitation to full function and are able to help manage the return to full working duties with task specific rehabilitation along with liaison on job specification.
